WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:

  • You must be at least 18 years old to get tattooed, its is a NY state law.

  • All procedures require a government-issued photo ID (drivers license, passport, military ID). Absolutely no exceptions!

  • You must be at least 18 years old to get pierced unless its an earlobe.  If you are under the age of 18, you must have a parent or legal guardian come with you, along with a ny state notary. The parent/legal guardian must have a government issued ID and the signed and dated *notarized consent form.

  • Shop minimum for tattoos is $100. We accept cash or credit. No personal checks will be accepted as payment.

  • Village tattoo will not tattoo or pierce anyone under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone!

  • Due to the possible risks involved, village tattoo will not pierce or tattoo women who are pregnant or nursing.

  • We cannot give you price quotes for tattoos over the phone or internet. You must come by the shop for a more accurate price estimate.

  • Children are not allowed to stay for a tattoo procedure. If you have an appointment, please make sure you arrange for childcare ahead of time.

  • No pets allowed. However, service dogs specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are welcomed in the lobby area only.

  • Our gift certificates expire one year from the date of purchase. They are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.

  • Lost or stolen gift certificates will not be re-issued. 

 

DEPOSIT/CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable person to person, no exceptions.

  • Out of respect for our artists, please arrive on time for your tattoo appointment. If you are more than 30 minutes late, you forfeit your deposit.

  • At Village Tattoo, we require a deposit for all appointments. All deposits are applied to the cost of the tattoo and it also confirms your appointment time on our calendar.

  • For multi-sessions tattoos,a deposit is required for each appointment.

  • A cash deposit is preferred, but we do accept credit cards (5% processing fee for all credit/debit cards).

  • Deposits range from $100-$200 depending on the size of the tattoo and artist preference.

  • In the event that you need to cancel or reschedule, we require at least 48 hours notice for your deposit to transfer to a new appointment, otherwise your deposit is forfeited and you will have to leave additional deposit for a new day.

  • Please be aware that some of our artists are booked out months in advance. If you reschedule more than once a fee may apply.

  • No call, no shows will also forfeit their entire deposit.
